[AEU Announcements] Texas Supreme Court Refuses to Hear ESOA Case

April 23, 2004.  Earlier today we received notice that the Supreme Court of 
Texas has denied the State of Texas petition to review the tax-exempt 
status case they brought against the Ethical Society of Austin.  The State 
of Texas may now appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court however, the attorneys 
for the Austin Society have "confidence" the Court would not accept.  The 
State of Texas has just a few weeks to make this appeal.
